I admit that when I had my lasik vision correction procedure done, I selected a vision center solely on price. Back then, there were many fly-by-night operations, but the center I selected was a branch of a much larger company, so I was fairly confident in my decision.
If you do select a lasik vision center based on price, don't forget to do your homework. Make sure that the center has a good reputation. Many centers are happy to provide contact information of customers that have agreed to provide references for the center.
